Gonna get in the groove…

I swear Im gonna really try to get in the groove of blogging and not just for the very few readers but for the sake of keeping a journal and it actually works as therapy at times. I can’t believe its already nearing the end of July, my how time flys! We have had a fun summer not including all the doctor appts we have had with miss Hannah (fights with doctors) but thats a whole seperate post in itself. We have kept busy with disneyland trips, playdates, bbqs with family and friends, gardening and water fun! Our oldest has really grown up in the past few months and that helps alot with the little ones. Then theres our wild middle child and then sweet yet demanding baby who is now 2 years old!!!! Like i said before TIME FLYS!!

Just a few photos I found on the desktop real quick like…

Insane syrup mishap!

I haven’t posted in awhile, oops. The hubby has been off of work and we have been very busy,I’ll have to catch you up on all our adventures eventually. Today is just not a day that I will be doing that cause I can already tell its gonna be a wild day!  Zoe, our 3yr old, decided that she would get herself breakfast after she has been told for about a year now that she can’t do that kinda stuff on her own. I asked her if she was hungry for breakfast and offered several different things to which she said no to all. I had to get dressed to start the day so I went to my room and thats when I heard the swiffer vac…and when I went to see what she was “cleaning” I wanted to walk away and pretend it didn’t really happen. But that didn’t work out so well…lemme tell ya 64oz of syrup is not the easiest spill to clean up!!!!!!Hope the rest of the day isn’t a disaster!

Ressurection Rolls

I wish I had had this recipe to post before Easter but I didn’t. I still wanted to share  it though, it’s a great one for the kids! We just did it today with some friends!!

You will need:

-Cresent Rolls

-Full size marshmallows

-Cinnamon & Sugar mixture

-Melted butter

How to:

-Lay out the cresents rolls;these represent the cloth that Jesus was wrapped in

-Take your white marshmallow;represents Jesus’ purity

-Dip the marshmallow in butter and the cinnamon mixture; represents the oils & spices used to annoint Him

-Wrap the marshmallow tightly with the cresent roll;represents the wrapping of His dead body

-Roll in cinnamon mixture once more to coat the outside with sweetness!

-Place in oven for 10-12 minutes at 350

When done they will be puffed up but EMPTY like the tomb….HE HAS RISEN!
